No. The app runs entirely on your device. Your photos and prescription information are never sent to any server, stored externally, or shared with anyone — including us.
For best results, hold your phone steady in good lighting. The camera functionality is designed to read just the medication name and dosage, so ensure that information is clearly captured by the camera. Try taking the photo from a few different angles.
MyPrescriptionPal requires an iPhone or iPad running iOS 26.4 or later.
MyPrescriptionPal is free to use for the basic plan. A monthly or yearly subscription can be purchased that unlocks enhanced functionality. A one time "Lifetime Pro" plan can also be purchased that will permanently unlock the Pro features.
